Certified Firefighter/ EMT
Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED
-
Must be at least 18 years of age
-
VALID Texas Driver License
-
Current TCFP Firefighter Basic or higher (verifiable at the time of testing)

Current TDSHS EMT-B or higher (verifiable at the time of testing)
-
No unacceptable criminal or driving histories will be permitted
-
Applicant must be able to physically perform the job duties as assigned

Must be able to provide proof of certification within 30 days of application date.

Must have successfully completed National Registry exam prior to application.

Out of State Fire Certifications with appropriate Firefighter I and II IFSAC Seal are acceptable.

Fire Certification (Texas Commission on Fire Protection - Basic or above)
